Think Global, Plant Local

Planting trees to help fight global warming.

Foresthill-1

Volunteers from Our City Forest and Tech CU spent Wednesday afternoon planting trees at Foresthill Elementary School in Campbell. This tree-planting project came about as part of Tech CU’s What Would You Change with $1,000? campaign that we ran back in the fall. . One of the winning submissions suggested planting trees locally to help make an impact on global warming, and so Tech CU partnered with Our City Forest to make this happen. We donated $1,500 toward two planting projects in Campbell and Willow Glen.

Thanks to Hohan Wadhwani of San Jose and the Hsieh family of Cupertino for helping out.
